About Vivo Founder Ben Blowes

Ben has been involved with sport and competing all of his adult life. Ben has competed in various sports including Boxing, Football, CrossFit, Rowing, Running and more lately Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. In 2016 Ben was selected from 5000 applicants to be one of 22 finalists in the BBC2 TV show ‘Special Forces:Ultimate Hell Week‘ which was filmed in South Africa. In 2017 Ben earned a place in the Guinness Book Of Records for being the first ever person to break the record of ‘Fastest Marathon Carrying A Household Appliance‘ when he completed the London marathon carrying a 25kg tumble dryer on his back. In June 2018 Ben completed over 215,000 km on an indoor rowing machine in a 24 hour rowing challenge and Ben plans to row solo across the Atlantic Ocean in the future. Ben is also a Scout leader and runs the 1st Moulton Beaver Scouts.

Boxing Coaching

Ben has been involved in amateur boxing coaching since retiring from competing in the sport in 2003. He was an assistant coach at Newmarkets New Astley Boxing club for a few years before being appointed head coach of Cambridge University Amateur Boxing Club in 2009. 


Ben has been running competitively since 2003 and has so far logged over 15,000 miles ran in training and 175 running races completed, including over 30 marathons and ultra marathons. Ben has raced at various distances ranging from 1 mile to 100 miles.
