“I have been involved in sports and exercise for 30 years. I have competed in and coached numerous different sports over the years and I have a track record in setting goals and achieving them. I have been fortunate enough to have worked with some exceptional sports coaches and athletes and the Vivo Outdoor Fitness programming is a culmination of various parts and information gathered in that time”.

We are not about fast track weight loss that is not sustainable. What we are about is simply health and well-being. Making you better than you were yesterday. Prepared for anything, anytime. Vivo Kids

As a father myself, I know the importance of getting children into physical activity at a young age. Three-quarters of UK children spend less time outside than prison inmates, according to a new survey revealing the extent to which time playing in parks, wood and fields has shrunk. A fifth of the children did not play outside at all on an average day, the poll found.

Experts warn that active play is essential to the health and development of children, but that parents’ fears, lack of green spaces and the lure of digital technology is leading youngsters to lead enclosed lives.

Most of the parents polled said their children have fewer opportunities to play outside than they did when young. The new research is strongly supported by previous work, including a government report in February that found more than one in nine children had not set foot in a park, forest, beach or any other natural environment for at least a year.

We want to get children outside, in all weathers, exercising and having fun.

The class will be 60 minutes in duration and will include funtional movements, games, boxing training (non contact) and circuit training style exercises.

Vivo kids is available to all children (aged between 6-14) of any paying adult member. Drop in price for non members is £5 per class. All attendees must book in at least 1 hour in advance.
